Of course you do, Yahoo! is the web's largest Search Engine / Directory serving millions of users. Unfortunately, Yahoo! knows it's number one and charges a significant fee ($300) to be listed in its directory for a year. Don't give up hope, there is a back door into Yahoo and it doesn't cost a penny to get listed. Google (http://www.google.com) powers the search results for Yahoo!. Even if your website is not listed in the Yahoo! directory your website can be found in a Yahoo! search if you are listed in Google. Confused? Don't be. This is how Yahoo! works, they have a directory that is organized by subject. If you drill into their directory by subject, you will only find websites that have paid the $300 fee to be listed. If you use their search feature then you are actually viewing Google search results. Getting your website listed in Google is free and easy to do. To add your website, simply visit http://www.google.com/addurl.html and follow their instructions. All they require is your website URL and your email address. Google is one the faster Search Engines for adding new websites. You can expect to see your site listed within 2-6 weeks. If you have the money to spend on a Yahoo! directory listing, I would recommend it. If not, make sure your website is listed with Google. If it is not already, add it today and you should see a significant increase in your website traffic. Is your website optimized for Search Engines?
